Little Sahara Recreation Area offers trail and open-area OHV riding - culminating with a hill climb up the 700 foot Sand Mountain. Stay a day, or spend the weekend. With access to 255 campsites, potable water, bathrooms, and children sand play areas, visitors have the opportunity to slow down and observe unique desert plants, rarely spotted wildlife, and incredible geology. Visitors looking for a quieter experience enjoy hiking and site-seeing in the Rockwell Wilderness Study Area.
