Experience everything from the volcanic remnants that is Pahvant Butte to rock art panels that have survived thousands of years. The Pahvant Valley Heritage trail winds its way through the Pahvant Valley and Sevier Desert taking visitors to many different geologic curiosities including the lava tubes and tabernacle hill. Trail riders can also enjoy rock hounding for transparent yellowish labradorite crystals on the flats surrounding Sunstone Knoll. This trail also provides the opportunity to stop by Fort Deseret, a landmark of Mormon pioneer history that stands as the only remaining example of the many adobe forts built in Utah.
