Pronounced “peder-nah-les,” it is the Spanish word for flint,
describing the hard chunks of flint found in the river area.
Twin Falls is viewable from the scenic
overlook on the nature trail accessed
between campsites 19 and 21.
Swimming is NOT permitted. This area
is delicate and must be protected.
