Welcome to North Bank Habitat Management Area!
Welcome to the North Bank Habitat Management Area. North Bank offers visitors the opportunity
to hike, bike, and horseback ride on miles of roads and trails. With hidden creeks, high ridgelines,
oak-savannah woodlands, and thickly forested canyons, the opportunities for wonderful views are
nearly endless. Two access points offer access into the heart of North Bank. At the Comstock
day-use area, a pavilion, picnic tables, barbecue grill and vault toilet offers a superb venue for your
post-outing picnic.
Know before you go
main entrance is open Friday through Monday, 8am to 8pm. There is no
potable water at North Bank so be sure to bring your own. North Bank is
closed to all motorized use.
west entrance can accommodate 4-5 horse trailers or 10 vehicles
and has a small Informational kiosk. comstock day use area can
accommodate 6-8 horse trailers and 8 vehicles.
hunting is a popular activity in the fall. Use caution during this time of year.
directions
Traveling North on I5 from Roseburg, Take exit 129 toward Winchester/Wilbur. Turn
left on 99. Turn Right onto North Bank Road. Travel approximately 6 miles and West
Entrance is on your left. Continue on North Bank for approximately 6 miles and
Comstock entrance is on your left. North Bank can also be accessed by Highway
138 right before you get to Glide.

North Bank has been set aside for the
conservation of Columbian white-tailed deer
habitat. Bring binoculars to spot this elusive
deer along with many other types of wildlife.
