Peirce Mill https://www.nps.gov/pimi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peirce_Mill The Peirce Mill is a historic mill building located in Rock Creek Park, at Tilden Street and Beach Drive, Northwest, Washington, D.C. Peirce Mill was built in the 1820's, and operated commercially until 1897. The United States Government acquired the mill as part of Rock Creek in 1892. Peirce Mill has recently been refurbished and operates on special occasions. Peirce Mill is on the National Register of Historic Places. From Rock Creek Park Nature Center and Planetarium, go south on Glover Rd Nw towards Ridge Rd NW. Take a slight tight onto Ridge Rd NW then turn right onto Grant Rd NW. After 0.4 miles, turn left onto Broad Branch Rd NW. After one mile, the mill will be on the right off of Tilden St NW.
