Over millions of years, the Gunnison River carved through hard rock to create this deep, narrow canyon. VIEW! Go to an overlook. Sit in a safe place. Draw what you see. Find a rock that is smaller than your fst, but bigger than your thumb. What color is your rock? How hard is it?
