Located in Beltrami Island State Forest, the Bemis Hill Trails offer more than 96 miles of riding. The trails travel along pine-covered ridges, large areas of low flatland and near peat bogs. Trails are provided by Roseau County and maintained by the Roseau/LOW Sportsman's Club. Winter Use: The ATV trails are ungroomed and ATVs are not allowed on groomed snowmobile trails. The parking lot at Bemis Hill Campground on Thompson Rd is plowed and has stocked vault toilets, as well as at Winner Forest Rd Silo. Normally Thompson Rd, Dicks Pkwy, Roosevelt Norris roads are open. Firewood may be available where there are suitable fireplaces, such as at Bemis.
