Nearby Parks Boat Ramps Park Rules If you’re having a great time here, don’t forget to visit one of the three nearby state parks! Cattail Cove State Park (18 miles) A quiet spot for river campers, this park offers a white sand beach, 32 rustic boat-in campsites, a boat launch area, and more park development on the horizon! The park has a trail for hiking and access to off-highway vehicle back-country roads. (928) 855-1223 River Island State Park (28 miles) This park is ideal for tent campers and provides a scenic respite, a desert escape, or a fun-filled water adventure. (928) 667-3386 Buckskin Mountain State Park (29 miles) Mountains line the river on both the Arizona and California sides, and the wildlife is as varied as the recreational opportunities along the river. This picturesque park provides a scenic respite and a fun-filled escape from the desert heat. Boat Ramps • PWC/Jet Ramp: Located in Lot 1 at the northern end of the park. • North Ramp: Located at the north end of Lot 2B. • South Ramp: Located at the south end of Lot 2B. • Windsor Ramp: Located at the south end of the park in the Windsor Boat Parking area. Non-motorized Watercraft • Non-motorized watercraft may launch from any appropriate shoreline area or safely from any boat ramp. PLEASE NOTE: Ramps may be closed during special events or emergencies. General Rules • Do not litter! “Leave no trace” and pack out what you bring in, or use the trash receptacles provided in the park. • Drive your vehicle only on designated paved surfaces. Park only in designated parking areas. Do not park on the side of the road. Obey all posted speed limits. • Do not use glass containers in the park. • All of our parks adhere to firearm and hunting regulations. Please familiarize yourself with this information. Fires • Keep fires in grills or designated state parks fire rings. Never leave fires unattended! • Do not gather firewood in the parks. • Fireworks are not permitted in state parks. • Be “fire smart” and check fire restrictions at azstateparks.com/fire-safety. Camping • Campsites are limited to up to six adults and up to 10 people total. Cabins are limited to six people total. • Campgrounds and cabins are reserved for registered guests only. • Campsites are allowed one vehicle. Visitors must pay an additional fee to park additional vehicles. • Park vehicles only on paved surfaces or designated areas. All vehicles in campgrounds must be registered with the park office or they will be cited. • There are designated dump facilities at the park for your convenience. Swimming • There is a designated area for swimming. • Please obey all posted signs. Boating • Review boating regulations before heading out on the water. Pets • Keep your pets on a maximum six-foot leash at all times. Pets must be attended at all times. • Pick up after your pet. • Pets are not allowed on white sand beaches. Pets are not allowed in cabins. • Responsible pet ownership is expected at all times. • For additional information related to pets, visit our website or ask park staff. LAKE HAVASU Camping Cabins Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden This interpretive area showcases the biodiversity of life that exists within the park and this area of the desert. Birds, lizards, and desert cottontails are common sights. Established 1957 Lake Havasu State Park 09/20 The scenic shores of Lake Havasu State Park are an ideal place to enjoy beautiful beaches, nature trails, boat ramps, and convenient campsites. This spot is truly a haven for watersports, located near the famous London Bridge of Lake Havasu City. The park offers four boat ramps, 54 campsites, a special events area, picnic area, several beach areas, the Mohave Sunset Trail, and the Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden, and new camping cabins. Each cabin has a covered porch looking out at the water. Cabins are furnished with a full-sized bed, two sets of bunk beds, a bar with chairs, electricity, lights, heating and air conditioning, and a locking door. Campers must supply their own linens or sleeping bags. Restrooms and showers are located in a separate building within a short walking distance. Cabins are limited to six people total. There is no cooking and no smoking inside of cabins. Pets are not allowed inside the cabins. There is limited parking, so visitors may pay an additional fee to park an RV. Tent camping is not allowed at the Cabin Loop. Reserve a camping cabin and start your park adventure at azstateparks.com/cabins. Hiking Trail Mohave Sunset Trail: 1.5 mile trail, rated easy. This trail winds its way through the lowland desert and along the shoreline. Pedestrian traffic only. Bicycles and motorized vehicles are not allowed on trails.
